It gives me no pleasure to report that between the dual standard evident for teachers and staff with economic conflicts of interest with the school, the lack of disclosure of such conflicts, the approval of current expenditures against a future budget not yet approved, the thirty percent turnover in teachers between this year and next, the absence of discussion about the county-wide low marks on the 2008 CSAP reading report recently released, the unannounced resignation of Director Campbell tonight shortly after elections where the community had an opportunity to elect the board, and the complete lack of public discussion about appointing a replacement for Director Campbell, this new board began its’ term on ethical low notes.
