In a special board meeting March 3rd in the school cafeteria, the Legacy Academy Board of Directors voted to close Legacy Academy High School at the end of this school year. Elementary School proponents cited the High School as responsible for declining enrollment and as a financial drain on the school. There was no discussion of the school’s declining CSAP performances over the past two years.
This decision affects approximately 30 current and prospective High School students.
