Subject: [LegacyAcademy] Answer?

To the Board:

I note that my requested resolution for a board commitment to the next 5 years of high school operations failed to make the agenda this month, and I have not received “the phone call.”  At this point you have not indicated an intent to support a full high school program for prospective 2009 freshman.  Is that your final answer?

This resolution is to be approved by the Legacy Academy Board of Directors to assure prospective Legacy Academy High School freshmen in the 2009-2010 and 2010-2011 school years that they will have a full 4-year High School program to complete.  Approval of this resolution, or one substantively similar and equally binding, is a condition precedent to my prospective freshman’s agreement to attend Legacy Academy next Fall.  Brooks Imperial,  1/14/09.

For example:

Legacy Academy Board of Directors Resolution

Be it resolved that Legacy Academy shall continue to offer a complete 4-year college-prep high school program to serve up to 200 students, for at least another 5 school years commencing in the Fall of 2009, and that the Legacy Academy Board of Directors promise to budget for, allocate funding, contract with third parties, and sustain their support of the Legacy Academy High School program, as required for the duration of this resolution.
