Twas all promise and jive<\/a>, eh?<\/p>\n

Let’s see now.\u00a0 Two Republican candidates [Rowland and Ross] conspired with John Dunn, a Democrat opponent [Jill Duvall], and a former Democrat candidate [Robert Thomasson] for the BOCC, to create an electoral coalition of voters, with no outward notification to those same voters of their alliance.<\/p>\n

Now, almost two years after beginning the conspiracy, and evidently in order to damage one of the Republican candidates, the former Democrat candidate [Thomasson] publicly blames one of the Republican candidates [Rowland] for not upholding his backroom promises to the other conspirators.<\/p>\n

The most interesting element to me in this sad tale is how the former Democrat candidate’s [Thomasson] moral sense only apparently kicks into gear over the perceived personal betrayal by one of the Republican candidates of the conspirators’ plan.<\/p>\n

But their conspiracy – a cooperation to deceive tens of thousands of Elbert County voters – doesn’t appear to bother him.<\/p>\n

In fact, the other Republican candidate’s faithfulness to the objectives of the conspiracy – “Larry Ross has done everything he could to keep his promises” to the conspirators<\/em> – is apparently a good thing to Mr. Thomasson.<\/p>\n

Yes, there is honor among thieves.\u00a0 Criminals aren’t supposed to commit crimes against each other.\u00a0 I expect that none of this rises to the level of criminality, though the ethical framework here is manipulative and far beneath the ideals of our republic.<\/p>\n

I agree, Mr. Thomasson spoke volumes in this writing.\u00a0 I wonder if anyone will hear him.<\/p>\n
