{"id":3045,"date":"2012-07-18T22:52:31","date_gmt":"2012-07-19T05:52:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/elbertcounty.net\/blog\/2012\/07\/18\/dreams-from-my-real-father\/"},"modified":"2012-07-19T11:10:25","modified_gmt":"2012-07-19T18:10:25","slug":"dreams-from-my-real-father","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/elbertcounty.net\/blog\/2012\/07\/dreams-from-my-real-father\/","title":{"rendered":"Dreams From My Real Father"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>This film documents the socialist conquest of America.\u00a0 Whether Obama is the son of Frank Marshall Davis or not, the history of the totalitarian movement they both dedicated their lives to is an on-going American tragedy that must be seen, must become known, by all Americans.<\/p>\n<p align=\"center\"><iframe loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/6jrrnkKmUzo\" frameborder=\"0\" height=\"300\" width=\"500\"><\/iframe><\/p>\n<h3>I&#8217;m ashamed to be called &#8216;newsman&#8217;<em> <\/em><\/h3>\n<p><em>by Joseph Farah<\/em><\/p>\n<p>After watching the press reaction and \u201cquestions\u201d following Sheriff Joe Arpaio\u2019s breathtaking news conference yesterday, I have to tell you I\u2019m embarrassed to call myself a newsman.<\/p>\n<p>If someone asks me what I do for a living, maybe I\u2019ll identify myself as an Internet entrepreneur.<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe I\u2019ll say I\u2019m a \u201cwriter.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe a publisher or businessman.<\/p>\n<p>I never thought it would come to this. Being a newsman was all I ever wanted to be as far back as I can remember. It\u2019s really all I\u2019ve ever done through adulthood. It\u2019s all I really know and love.<\/p>\n<p>But I don\u2019t ever want to be associated with that pack of jackals from Phoenix who jumped all over Arpaio and his investigator, Mike Zullo, for courageously presenting overwhelming evidence \u2013 I would even use the term \u201cproof\u201d \u2013 that Barack Obama\u2019s birth certificate is fraudulent and that the state of Hawaii is not only a willing accomplice in this scandal but perpetrating an even bigger one as a virtual factory for phony documents giving noncitizens instant citizenship with a stroke of the pen.<\/p>\n<p>Some 50,000 people across the globe watched the live presentation on WND TV. If you didn\u2019t get a chance to see it unfold, I urge you to take the time to <a href=\"http:\/\/youtu.be\/Fcg-lIabchA\">review on demand<\/a>, at your convenience.<\/p>\n<p>In another era, with another occupant of the White House \u2013 someone like Nixon or Reagan or Bush \u2013 such an event would have been carried live by ABC, NBC and CBS. The New York Times would have had a half-dozen reporters on the scene. CNN, FOX and CSPAN would have carried coverage and offer instant analysis and debate over the issues raised.<\/p>\n<p>But that\u2019s no longer the America in which we live.<\/p>\n<p>Today, without the Internet, we live in a 100 percent controlled media environment. There are more sacred cows than edible ones. The watchdogs are now lapdogs. The \u201creporters\u201d are propagandists for the political establishment and the status quo.<\/p>\n<p>I watch in horror as my chosen profession collectively disgraces itself.<\/p>\n<p>Can our nation even survive without a free and independent and inquisitive, watchdog press?<\/p>\n<p>Thomas Jefferson said, \u201cWhere the press is free and every man able to read, all is safe.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Are we \u201csafe\u201d in America today?<\/p>\n<p>On the other hand, Vladimir Lenin said, \u201cWhen one makes a Revolution, one cannot mark time; one must always go forward \u2013 or go back. He who now talks about the \u2018freedom of the press\u2019 goes backward, and halts our headlong course towards Socialism.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Is that where we\u2019re headed in America today \u2013 forward to socialism and tyranny?<\/p>\n<p>I feel sympathy for Arpaio and Zullo for the abuse they have endured. I understand it well, because I\u2019ve experienced it firsthand for the last four years in my own commitment to the pursuit of truth regarding Obama\u2019s life story.<\/p>\n<p>The easiest choice to make is to go along with the conventional wisdom, not ask the hard questions, not relentlessly pursue truth. Kudos to Arpaio and Zullo, who didn\u2019t take the easy way out like those clowns in the local Phoenix media and all those in the national media who just ignored what the only law-enforcement investigation of Obama\u2019s birth certificate found.<\/p>\n<p>I may not want to associate myself with the media anymore out of sheer humiliation. But I promise you one thing: I\u2019m not going to stop being a real journalist. I\u2019m not going to stop doing what I\u2019ve been doing for 35 years.
